What is flat lay to model?

It turns a photo of a garment laid flat into photos of a model wearing it. In OnShoot you pick the product, a model and a place, and it makes up to 12 photos in a few minutes.

What makes a good flat lay for it?

The whole garment in frame, front up and smoothed out, in even light, at least 512 px on each side. Keep props off the garment: a photo with more than the product in it is the most common reason a photo is turned down.

Does the model wear it the way it looks?

OnShoot reads the garment from your photo: its colour, knit or print, and details like buttons and logos. Every photo in a shoot shows the same garment in the same place, so they sit together on a product page.

Which products does it work for?

Tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear, caps and hats, glasses, bags, shoes and socks. Beauty products can be photographed with a model or on their own.

How big are the photos?

2480 × 3312 pixels: 8 MP, in the 3:4 shape most product pages use.

What does it cost?

Ten credits a photo. The Free plan makes 5 photos a month; Growth makes 150 for $29, about $0.19 a photo. Photos that don't come out are refunded in credits.

Try it on your own product.

Five free photos a month, with every model and place.
